Creative Scrappers blog challenge

While on my cruise in Mexico I was thrilled to find out that I have been picked to be in the DT of Creative Scrappers, my first ever sketch blog DT spot!!! I was super excited since I love to use sketches to jump start my creations!!!

My layout is with one of my ever favorite photos of one of my best friends Gina and my Godson George in the day of his Christening.

I have used one of the Heidi Swapp invisibles papers which I masked and painted with acrylics, then did some embellishmnent layering and left the journaling spots blanc for Gina to write her own words!

I have made some wall art for John's new house for this winter that features our pics!! But guess what? We moved in together so it is perfect for our new apartment and first ever moving out from my parents house!!! Isn't it funny??

I think our heads in those graphic 45 papers are sooooo funny!!!

My number stamps are from Making memories, tags and die cuts from K& co, alphas from Pink Paislee adn chipboard housse from Maya road.

I am super excited since it is my first challenge as a DT for the Butterfly crafts blog and it has been a very funny one!!

What is the topic?

If you could be any character in any TV show or film, who would you be and why? Would you choose someone who's character you relate to or someone who is a total opposite to yourself?

Which character have I chosen?? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!

I love his naïve nature and fun way of living, plus my boyfriend kind of reminds me Squidward!! lol

Big Ego Challenge at the Candy Shoppe

Have you heard the new song by Beyonce... Big Ego??? That is our inspiration for this month's challenge at the Candy Shoppe!!

What do you have to do in order to win a fantastic prize? Go here, be a sweetheart and rawk this challegne!!

Thankfulness at Gingersnaps

What are you thankful for today? Me... being with my cats and relax with them!! lol !!!

A new challenge is on at Gingersnaps where you have to create anything artsy that shows what you are thankful for. Once more the DT has done some beautiful pieces of art, those ladies sure can stamp!!!

Made of my Badgirls kit of August, with some crackle paint, a piece of packaging (the silver tissue paper) and lots of love!!  Isn't he adorable???

What the f@#$%??? A chance to really challenge yourselves!

The new challenge is up and running for us Lollipop girls at the Candy Shoppe. And this time you really have to think out of the box to keep up with it!!

WTF! OMG! We're all a little guilty and have let it slip, most of the time without even realizing it. So what's wrong with putting it down on paper? Nothing! Bad words exist.

You DO need to include at least 1 curse word at your paper creation but watch it! We don’t want anyone offended here!! Can you pull it off???

So...

I maybe a cat lover but I do have a super cute female dog… hence the title!!! I think this challenge is hilarious and made me really try to think out of the box! And boy, did I have some ideas(they don’t call me sourpuss for nothing.. wink wink). So I took a craft cardstock, embellished it with stickles and made a tag out of journaling paper and suede cords behind it. The bone is made out of copper wire and the heart is hand-cut by me and inked!

Playing with Cocoa Daisy scraplifts

A new fun game has started over at Cocoa Daisy kits. 7-8 scrappers sign up and the first one is given a layout to scraplift and send it over to the second one on the list and so on!! After all have done their scraplifts the layouts are revealed in the gallery and in a forum post and it is soooo interesting to see how a layout evolves and changes from scrapper to scrapper!!!

Here is my part on this scraplifting chain!!

I bet you haven't seen my overscrapped cat Pordito in his baby pictures!!!

I have used some Jenni Bowlin paper with October afternoon, some Prima bling, American crafts letters, a Creative imaginations chipboard sticker and my buttons from my August Girls loft kit! 

The Studio Second October challenge!!

It is up and running!!! Our second October Challenge at The Studio is here and again is sponsored by the fantastic Nikki Sivils paper line!

Brads challenge at Gingersnaps!!

Head over at Gingersnaps for a fantastic challenge with BRADS!! You can do anything crafty you can think of, a layout, a card, an altered item, anything as long as you will use at least on brad!!!! You definately have to check what the Gingersnap girls have done, their work is once more WOW!!!

This is what I have done using the fantastic class on inchies by Alison Manning with stamps and inks!!

Yes, it is me and my cat..AGAIN!! The background inchies were made with Ali's technique along with glitz and unity stamps. My brads are from Chatterbox, my alphas from American crafts and October afternoon.
